  Evidence: This binding is translated in vivo into the rapid recruitment of CAPRI and RASAL from the cytosol to the plasma membrane following receptor-mediated increases in [Ca2+]i. Importantly, this membrane association leads to an increase in the catalytic activity of both proteins. So, both CAPRI and RASAL constitute calcium-activated Ras-GAPs that inactivate Ras at the plasma membrane
