IL19 — MAPK14

Pathways - manually collected, often from reviews:

  • OpenBEL Selventa BEL large corpus: MAPK14 → IL19 (decreases, IL19 Activity)
Evidence: Pretreatment of VSMC with IL-19 results in a significant reduction in fetal calf stimulated p44/42 and p38 MAPK activation in cultured human VSMC [38]. It was found that this inhibition was mediated by SOCS5 interaction with these MAP kinases, suggesting that in other cell types, other interleukins could inhibit MAPKs by induction of SOCS proteins.
